Thoughts behind a Stitched Mouth By Katherine Lightwood "Have you ever realized why people wear masks...Hide their face, real emotions, passions or interests..."  Well...not everyone does, some people do. I call them defensive people . They put their guards high up, pretend something they are not, hide their intimate emotions. They live in shadows, they crave darkness and light hurts them. And after a while darkness becomes part of them. No matter how much light you shine to them you can never light them up. To the other people, they seem grim, boring. a shy, introvert, person without confidence, emotionless, cold and distant. If they physically look good then they become mysterious and charming. And if not they become a freak show, an odd variable that needs to be removed. And eventually, they get removed. From the society, from the world, from lives of the people and many more situations."  Well!! It's not about me. It's in general. I am talking

Lore of a Silent Heart By Katherine Lightwood Mellow and quite she passed through the dark, Panting in the shadows she followed that spark. The grey night was suffocating her lungs, Screams of her soul were giving her serious burns. But silent she goes, cutting down her shadows. Light from the stars was forming strange halos. But there she goes and let her shrill sigh out, Deafening it was, something that was beyond loud. Then the forest got silent and the shadows went wild, Cutting through the darkness the great demon smiled. Crawling through her veins the fear entered her heart. She tried hard to stop, but it just crossed her guard. And that's how she changed, the dark claimed her soul, She became lord of the sins and jumped into the hell hole. She screamed in pain and cried till the tears burned her cheeks, But she was alone and there's no one to call her freak. Little by little she lost her fight with the dark, The light once she had, now she lost
