Lore of a Silent Heart
By Katherine Lightwood
Mellow and quite she passed through the dark,
Panting in the shadows she followed that spark.
The grey night was suffocating her lungs,
Screams of her soul were giving her serious burns.
But silent she goes, cutting down her shadows.
Light from the stars was forming strange halos.
But there she goes and let her shrill sigh out,
Deafening it was, something that was beyond loud.
Then the forest got silent and the shadows went wild,
Cutting through the darkness the great demon smiled.
Crawling through her veins the fear entered her heart.
She tried hard to stop, but it just crossed her guard.
And that's how she changed, the dark claimed her soul,
She became lord of the sins and jumped into the hell hole.
She screamed in pain and cried till the tears burned her cheeks,
But she was alone and there's no one to call her freak.
Little by little she lost her fight with the dark,
The light once she had, now she lost that spark.
