 Hello everyone looks like all of you doing great and if anyone is not fine you will be okay soon and there's a lot of love coming from here and its time to start our next blog, and it's on my one of mine art called Psychedelic Art, wish you like it.

Psychedelic art is an art or visual display inspired by psychedelic experiences and hallucination known to follow the ingestion of psychoactive (affecting the mind) drugs such as LSD.

The word “Psychedelic” coined by British psychologist “Humphry Osmond”, he also explored aspects of the psychology of social environments, in particular how they influenced welfare or recovery in mental institutions.

By the above definition, all artistic efforts to depict the inner world of the psyche may be considered “psychedelic”. In common parlance “psychedelic art” refers to all the art movement of the late 1960s counterculture. Psychedelic visual arts were a counterpart to psychedelic rock music.

There are many such parts of arts in Psychedelic Art: Algorithmic art, Cyberdelic, Diffraction, Fractal art, Liquid light show, LSD art, Paisley, Phosphene.

Optical Art 

It was about a 7 to 8 months back and the day was as usual as every day, had no entertainment nor enjoyment and was wishing for the day to pass soon and that day while going back to home I got work from the teacher to make some illustration artwork and I had no idea what I can create from where to start, reached my place and slept for some hours.

After getting up I had got some notification on my cell phone checked all my notification then started using Instagram and I saw one of the artists had posted his artwork {sorry that I can’t tell his name or his post because I forgot to follow him or take a screenshot of his work so I don’t remember his name} and I was like why not try this method and before I start my work my roommate planned to get drunk and I was like yeah  it’s been about a 3month I didn’t get drunk so later had some booze and late night sat for some preparation on my artwork but things got some really bad due to too much booze I got sick and landed on my bed.

The next morning I woke up I had a horrible hangover which felt like a heavy object is been placed upon my head, though however made my way to my Institute plugged my headset turned up my music playlist and just sat down to balance my hangover and cool up my mind.

However I had many works to do but I was like got no works to do and grabbed my cell phone and started using Instagram there I saw one of my followers post, (Nischita.Jain) she had clicked her picture in Mangalore at tannirbhavi beaches, pointing her finger at the sun, and by observing that picture I got an option from where I could start my work instead of sitting like fool at least  1% of startup is better than having a 100% of idea where I could give a start, took a screenshot of that post and started sketching up thing for that picture. But I was not able to give a touch of feeling and pain.



So thought of sketching a baby in a form of Zygote, and started texturing the baby with blue in a semicircle form  and textured the amniotic sac with brown lines and colored the umbilical cord with black, grey, and red, then to balance it use the beauty of nature which will describe a mother much better used a tree as a shelter, red pattern as a blood, the bush of leaves as a mother’s womb which keeps the baby safe and warm clouds as neurons mountains as a breastfeeder, then slowly step by step kept adding thing with different patterns


In the place of the sun added up the moon in form of zygote formation tired of keeping it a very basic and just outlined the girl’s images and didn’t fill her with patterns just kept it plain. Then added up some small things like grass, mushrooms which complete the nature.


The thought of “Psychedelic Art” was totally flowing in this art so named this artwork as Psychedelic Art this art shows many such things like the affection of a mother and shows some of the women’s are being Heart Broken due to were not able to have kids in their family and every day prayed to have at least a one baby which could make their life more better and happy living family. So this way of art could be able to explain this artwork more beautifully and show the pain through this Art.
