Hopefully, soon it will rain
By Katherine Lightwood
This world was chaotic forest, wild and dark,
When I was caged on a crystal ball filled with the spark.
Followed all their rules, abide all their supreme commands.
Sought forgiveness for the thought of a sin, and just made amends.
They promised me that I will rise above the oceans and skies.
But, alas!! I fall on the bed of thorns, realized they just fed me lies.
I played the game called life when they preached me those false prophecies,
Marked with the curse of failure, they called me the queen of atrocities.
I broke them and they broke me, like a foretold hostility.
Thus I became make of their imperfection, their shameful posterity.
But now, I found a mask, dark and perfect like a dream.
So, I hide from the world, to save myself from this torturous scream.
Now, they still fight me, try to break my soul and lure me to the dark,
But I am another name for monstrosity now, once I was their crimson lark.
This world is a test for my strength, where no one ever tells me the rules,
I don't want to win their game anymore, I don't want their jewels.
Now, I am away from those lies, away from those pain,
Away from the cursed land I was in, hopefully, soon it will rain.
So, that was my thought of the day. To see more posts like this make sure to visit our main page. And Do not forget to visit our institute's page to know more about graphic design, 3D, animation courses and other awesome stuff. Till then good day to you.
