Untitled Grief- Part 3
By Katherine Lightwood
Allow me to lament about my golden majestic light,
When it burnt scarlet and brightened every other's sight.
One day when I was passing by, hit hard on a granite,
The world seemed dark as if nobody's on the planet.
Then I saw a warm glow behind the redwood trees,
Awestruck was I standing there, it felt like a sweet breeze.
Then again the light flickered and vanished in front of my eyes,
I shivered, what if it knows my abominable sins and lies.
Days passed, the sky turned grey making the mornings gloomy,
I stumbled upon a tree trunk, as those infernal voices speak to me.
A wishful thinking stuck in my mind, to burn this havoc at once,
Thinking my own wish is a command, I quickly took that chance.
The fire burned red and I burnt too, turning my valor to ashes,
So, I ran out of the forest, to avoid other filthy clashes.
I burnt, bruised and bled, halfway through my path of survival,
But my anger burnt my veins as I kept thinking of my rival.
So, I am still crawling, falling and stumbling to reach the city of light,
Will the morning turn into night as I try to live and fight?
So, that was my thought of the day. To see more posts like this make sure to visit our main page. And Do not forget to visit our institute's page to know more about graphic design, 3D, animation courses and other awesome stuff. Till then good day to you.
