The Grieving of Light By Katherine Lightwood

Image
The Grieving of Light By Katherine Lightwood Sitting with the light, I lurked in its eye, With melancholy face, it turned away with a sigh. Far from the chaos, far from the fight. A tear trickled down the face, it was of the light. I asked for the reason, I asked for the cry, Shying away from my gaze and told me just a lie. I hold its hand and gazed through its soul, It was missing the darkness that was black as coal. Shocked with the horror I started to tremble, The darkness was within the light, it was not a fable. Then the light walked away from my sight, Once thought darkness was just, not quite right. It was like a movie, it was like a song, Saw the unison of light and darkness, but not for quite long. The darkness of mine was grieving from inside. My heart was tearing apart, my fate was yet to decide. Then again a tear trickled down my face, and it was not of the light. My mind was caged in the chaos, I am losing the fight. Katherine Lightwood  ...

Letters from an ink heart By Katherine Lightwood

Letter from an ink heart By Katherine Lightwood After a long while, a very long while... I am writing again. With a heart filled with invalid emotions, thoughts, ideas that are not fit to present in this world. That is not worthy to expose... Sentences with grammatical errors, that has unspoken and forbidden feelings wrapped around it. Sentences that people around me don't get, sentences that are rejected... Sorry for being loopy. But what exactly are valid feelings? What are "bold" emotions...? What are thoughts that are called "right" in this world...? What is "right ", what is "wrong"...?  The world itself says nothing is "right " and nothing is "wrong "...but the naysayers ... why the world itself has become a naysayer...? They say when you go through "fire" you become a "piece of gold"...but they never say that some burn and become ashes... Pure black ash, that mixes up with earth or...

Untitled Grief Part- 25 By Katherine Lightwood

Untitled Grief Part- 25 By Katherine Lightwood Now shards of broken glass are these memories, Touching them binds me with hopes and worries. Cutting my veins and bleeding from inside, Pain or pleasure, I still have to decide. Hiding my pain and stitching my mouth, It's just a sin, it's forbidden to shout. Muffling my screams, I have to hide, Thoughts that I've got is taking a wrong side. Crushed my dream and crushed all my wishes, Tormented from the core, I am one of those dead fishes. Want to get lost, just want to hide, Grim it might sound but that's what I've tried. Want to be forgotten, want to get erased, Visions of my mind are now fully deranged. Power of my soul is echoing down the hill, Luring me below, painful is it's shrill. Lost in hell, forgotten the exit door, Crying in arms of grim, burning my soul from the core. Katherine Lightwood

Untitled Grief Part- 24 By Katherine Lightwood

Image
Untitled Grief Part- 24 By Katherine Lightwood Unheard tears and broken soul, Crying aloud, now it's just a growl.  Hoping some peace and living in silence, This life is a tragedy or it's just a test of patience.  Wandering in shadows, getting lost in the dark, Wising if and only if, I could find that spark. Invalid emotions and aching heart, Thrown away just like a piece of dirt. My fears and troubles are blinding my hand, Lurking into the hell, it's where I stand.  My trembling soul is dying inside, Shall I leave, it's not I who decide. Unspoken words and lost memories, They are about unsaid happiness and priceless glories. Lost, as they walk by, passing through my broken life, My heart aches from inside as I pretend to thrive.  But I wait, I wait, oh wanderer... hoping to find the lost hope, But this life is killing me from inside, how will I cope.  -Katherine Lightwood    ...

To the year 2018 By Katherine Lightwood

To the year 2018 By Katherine Lightwood Sometimes, I want to scream at the top of my lungs just wishing that it will ease away my frustration and pain. But that doesn't happen in real life. All you will get is a sore throat and a few curses from your parents. Life doesn't happen that way. It gives you situations where you question yourself, hate yourself and struggle to survive. You desperately search for a single ray of hope. If you find it gives you countless reasons to live and survive. This past year was a huge roller coaster for me. I had experienced some of my worst moments and priceless moments. Well, I always talk about the worst moments but today I want to talk about my priceless moments.  And oh my god...!! How can I even start? No... I mean no amount of money, time or any power can buy or recreate these moments. These are unreplaceable and breathtakingly mesmerizing. And with the flow of time and the pace of life... I too have lost these moments. Whenever...

Thoughts behind a Stitched Mouth By Katherine Lightwood

Thoughts behind a Stitched Mouth By Katherine Lightwood "Have you ever realized why people wear masks...Hide their face, real emotions, passions or interests..."  Well...not everyone does, some people do. I call them defensive people . They put their guards high up, pretend something they are not, hide their intimate emotions. They live in shadows, they crave darkness and light hurts them. And after a while darkness becomes part of them. No matter how much light you shine to them you can never light them up. To the other people, they seem grim, boring. a shy, introvert, person without confidence, emotionless, cold and distant. If they physically look good then they become mysterious and charming. And if not they become a freak show, an odd variable that needs to be removed. And eventually, they get removed. From the society, from the world, from lives of the people and many more situations."  Well!! It's not about me. It's in general. I am talking...

Lore of a Silent Heart By Katherine Lightwood

Image
Lore of a Silent Heart By Katherine Lightwood Mellow and quite she passed through the dark, Panting in the shadows she followed that spark. The grey night was suffocating her lungs, Screams of her soul were giving her serious burns. But silent she goes, cutting down her shadows. Light from the stars was forming strange halos. But there she goes and let her shrill sigh out, Deafening it was, something that was beyond loud. Then the forest got silent and the shadows went wild, Cutting through the darkness the great demon smiled. Crawling through her veins the fear entered her heart. She tried hard to stop, but it just crossed her guard. And that's how she changed, the dark claimed her soul, She became lord of the sins and jumped into the hell hole. She screamed in pain and cried till the tears burned her cheeks, But she was alone and there's no one to call her freak. Little by little she lost her fight with the dark, The light once she had, now she lost...
